Foot patrol (11/08/2026) |
||
|
Rick's near 5-hour patrol of the ward today saw him covering Rush Green, tracking down a lost taxi and engaging with children at a summer sports camp (7.80 miles).
Heading through the Eastbrookend Country Park and Footpath 18 towards Parish Fields (10.30am), all of the 'flower estate' was patrolled, including Carnation Close and Campion Close (11.49am, p).
From there, Lincoln Avenue (12.08pm), Lilac Gardens, Laurel Crescent, Rose Glen (12.22pm, p) and Gorseway to the east of Dagenham Road were all visited via Harveys Lane.
It was on to Valentines Way and Fels Farm Mews (12.54pm, p) and back past the lakes, which included a check-in with the lake's bailiffs.
The final stop was the May and Baker Social Club, where children at a sports camp had their burning questions answered...and their curiosity about the weight of the stab-vest satisfied. | ||
